3,505 individual “artifacts” from a scan of nothing, using the Epson 10000XL scanner that I have used to scan all of my work thus far. The largest dimension of the largest individual “artifact” is 0.125". There are 59 columns and 59 rows of “artifacts” with a 60th row containing 24 additional “artifacts” in the grid.
